The Detroit Pistons just inked power forward Jon Leuer to a four-year deal. And, according to reports, this means Detroit is no longer in play for Hawks free agent Al Horford.
Detroit pitched to Horford the idea of playing alongside Andre Drummond, apparently, that was not enough.
While Detroit was not able to land Horford, it is significant that they were able to meet with him, while he would need meet with a prestigious team such as the Los Angeles Lakers.
