The Detroit Pistons have signed power forward Jon Leuer according to multiple reports.
Leuer played for the Pheonix Suns, where he averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He also shot 38.2% from the three-point line. Leuer is a 6’10 power forward with the ability to play center. Detroit was in the market for a player like Leuer.
Detroit was rumored to be interested in Al Horford, but ultimately never had the money to sign him and fill their backup point guard need.
Leuer is a good signing for Detroit, as he is a big man who can shoot and defend a bigger body.
