Game Recap: Pistons upset Clippers 108-97

The Detroit Pistons were able to win their last game of their four-game home stand, defeating the former best team in the NBA, the Clippers, 108-97.

The Pistons had six players score in double figures, and only one player had a negative +/-. That player was Darrun Hilliard, with a +/- of -1.

Detroit also had more rebounds than the Clippers, cleaning the glass 42 times compared to the Clippers’ 32.

Marcus Morris lead the team in scoring with 17 points, who also posted a field goal percentage of 61.5%. Andre Drummond was responsible for 10 rebounds, while also scoring 16 points for the Pistons. John Leuer continued his solid play coming off the bench, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

 

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a career high 10 assists.

The Pistons will head off to a four-game road trip, facing off against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
