Pistons lose again, fall to Gordon Hayward and the Utah Jazz 110-77

Tonight, the Detroit Pistons (18-24)  were destroyed by the Utah Jazz (25-16) 110-77. The Jazz outshot (53.8% vs 39.5%), outrebounded (48 vs 35), and simply outplayed  the Pistons in nearly every facet of the game. Most glaringly, the Jazz connected on ten more 3-pointers (16 vs 6) than the lowly Pistons.

Rodney Hood had one of his best games in his young career, scoring 27 points on seven  3-pointers. Former Butler-standout, Gordon Hayward, posted 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. George Hill poured in 22 points on 5-6 shooting from behind the arc.

The Pistons were dreadful on both sides of the ball. Tobias led the Pistons with 12 points. Andre Drummond had 19 rebounds but only nine points.

Overall, the Pistons are 1-3 on this  West coast road trip and at this point, the season looks almost lost. The Pistons face the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday at 9:30pm EST.
