Game Recap: Pistons Blowout Hawks, 118-95

The Detroit Pistons(20-24) blew out the Atlanta Hawks(24-18) on Wednesday night, 118-95. The win brought Detroit’s win streak to two games.

Reggie Jackson led the way for Detroit, scoring 26 points, grabbing five rebounds, and dishing four assists. Tobias Harris(19), Reggie Bullock(15), Marcus Morris(14), and Andre Drummond(13) all scored in double figures. Morris flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. Aron Baynes added 12 points off the bench.

The Pistons played without starters Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jon Leuer.

The Pistons started the game hot, and never really cooled off.

Paul Millsap scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the loss for Atlanta. Tim Hardaway Jr added ten points off the bench.

”They came out and punched us, punched us hard. We weren’t able to come back from that,” Millsap said.

The Pistons play the Wizards at home on Saturday. It is another big game for Detroit, who needs to make up for their rough start to the season. Atlanta hosts the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
