Tonight, the Detroit Pistons (31-33) lost to the Indiana Pacers (33-31) 115-98. Paul George took over in the 3rd quarter, scoring 13 of his 21 points and the Pistons never recovered.
As a team, Indiana shot 53.1% (34-64) from the field and 50% (9-18) from downtown. Indiana also hit nearly all of their free throws (15-17). All-star, Paul George, led the Pacers with 21 points while collecting 8 rebounds. CJ Miles hit 4 of 9 three-pointers on his way to 15 points.
Thaddeus Young also pitched in with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The Pistons shot 43.8% (39-89) on two-pointers and only 26.9% (7/26) on three-pointers. The Pistons also had 10 turnovers. Off the bench, Tobias Harris had a game-high 22 points. Andre Drummond posted a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds and Stanley Johnson had 17 points with 5 rebounds.
Pistons play tomorrow night against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers (42-20) at 7:30pm EST at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
