Game Preview: Reggie Jackson Sits as Pistons Face Heat

The Detroit Pistons(34-40) face the Miami Heat(35-38) tonight at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The game begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Heat lost a close game to the Boston Celtics on Sunday, 112-108. Hassan Whiteside scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the loss. Tyler Johnson added 24 points off the bench. James Johnson finished with 20 points, also off the bench. A 32-17 deficit in the third quarter is what loss Miami the game. The Heat have lost two straight.

Detroit got embarrassed, again. Last night it was the New York Knicks who beat the Pistons, 109-95. Marcus Morris scored 20 points. Andre Drummond scored 10 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Ish Smith had 15 points and five assists.

Reggie Jackson did not play last night for the Pistons, and won’t play tonight. Stan Van Gundy did not say that Jackson would be shut down for the season, however it is a possibility.
