Game Recap: Boban Marjanovic Dominates In Houston

It was announced moments before the Pistons faced off with the Rockets that Detroit was in danger of losing its playoff eligibility with a loss.  Most fans counted Detroit out of the playoffs weeks ago when their slump began.  Because of an impressive 114-109 win in Houston, the Detroit Pistons will live another day without being mathematically eliminated from the postseason.

The Pistons horrific play over their last several games caused many fans to not watch the game tonight.  Boban Marjanovic provided the entertainment for the crazy fans who still tuned in.  Marjanovic played a season high 28 minutes and finished with 27 points on 12-18 shooting.

Detroit was down by 12 points entering the fourth quarter.  Thanks to some clutch shooting from Stanley Johnson, the team in the Motor City mounted an improbable comeback.

It was nice to see Henry Ellenson play 26 minutes and contribute for 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Detroit improves to (36-43) and will play at Memphis (43-37) Sunday night.
