Tonight the Detroit Pistons lost their final game at the Palace of Auburn Hills to the Washington Wizards 105-101.
Bradley Beal spoiled the Pistons last night at their ole’ stomping grounds by dropping a game-high 33 points. Beal commented, “‘we knew this was a historic night, because they’ve had so many great teams here,” and ”we knew they wanted to have a party, and we decided to try to ruin it.” Markeiff Morris also pitched in 20 points with 8 rebounds.
For the Pistons, Tobias Harris led with 22 points while Ish Smith continued his solid offense play, scoring 16 points with 9 assists.
The Pistons trailed by only one with 1:14 left, but Harris missed a crucial three pointer that would have tied the game. Beal then sealed the Wizards victory with a vicious dunk in traffic.
Overall, the best part of this game was the amazing halftime show that showcased an amazing roster of Pistons legends such as Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman, Chauncey Billups, Ben Wallace and Tayshaun Prince.
Pistons play their final game of the 2017 season when they face the Magic in Orlando on Wednesday at 8pm EST.
