The NBA announced earlier today that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been suspended for the first two games of the 2017-2018 season following a DUI incident that occurred back in March.
Caldwell-Pope pleaded guilty in court to the charges. He will not receive pay for the two games he is suspended for.
He is set to become a restricted free agent on July 1st, and many have speculated he will receive a max contract offer from at least one team.
Reggie Bullock, Detroit’s other restricted free agent, was suspended for violating the NBA’s Anti-Drug Program.
