The Detroit Pistons have traded shooting guard Darrun Hilliard to the Houston Rockets, according to Sam Amick of USA Today Sports. Detroit will assumedly receive cash considerations for Hilliard.
The Rockets are trading for Hilliard, in order to have the ability to trade for Chris Paul. Hilliard is one of the multiple players Houston is trading for to make this deal possible. The Clippers will receive Hilliard as part of the Paul deal. The blockbuster trade went down earlier today.
The money Detroit is receiving from Houston is undisclosed as of now.
