Through the first nine games of the season, Detroit has turned many heads opening with a 6-3 record. After a road trip out west and a victory against the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit looks to defeat a 1-7 Sacramento Kings team.
If Detroit continues the play it has demonstrated thus far, this should be an easier game for the Pistons, something much needed after facing Golden State, the Clippers, and Giannis Antetokounmpo in a span of four games.
Sacramento is currently seeing significant struggles offensively, being in the bottom three for points, rebounds, and assists per game. If Detroit continues its defensive efforts, the Kings will have extreme trouble trying to score.
Andre Drummond will be a key to tonight’s game. After his tremendous performance against the Milwaukee Bucks, the question that remains is Drummond’s consistency. Against one of the league’s weaker teams, fans will get to see a true showing of his efforts.
In terms of injuries, John Leuer is doubtful with a left ankle sprain.
