The Detroit Pistons will be without backup big man Jon Leuer for the next 2-4 weeks, Stan Van Gundy announced at shootaround prior to tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards.
Leuer has not played since October 31st when he suffered an ankle injury against the Los Angeles Lakers. He saw a specialist in Indiana on Thursday.
The Pistons have used Eric Moreland and Anthony Tolliver throughout his absence, while Henry Ellenson remains glued to the bench. Tolliver has been a key cog for Detroit’s second unit, providing leadership and great floor spacing. Moreland has been a stout defender and rebounder.
