Pistons lose 5th straight; Come up short vs Warriors 102-98

Detroit was unable to complete a season sweep of the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors, falling just short and losing 102-98.

 

 

The Pistons could not find an answer for Kevin Durant during the game, as KD scored 36 points while dominating the second quarter. Draymond Green recorded six blocks and 13 assists as well.

 

As for the Pistons, Avery Bradley scored 26 points. Reggie Jackson dropped 16 points, but only managed to scored two during the 2nd half.

After the loss, Stan Van Gundy was frustrated with his rotations.

 

“We may have to change our rotations. Our bench has been really good for us before but now has not been.”

 

Detroit will face the Boston Celtics on Sunday at Little Caesar’s Arena.
