Game Preview: Pistons Face Brooklyn Nets

Tonight at 7:30pm EST the Detroit Pistons (21-18) will be in Brooklyn to face the Nets (15-25). The Pistons are 2 point favorites heading into the game.

The Pistons are not going to be getting back Jon Leuer or Reggie Jackson anytime soon, but are hopefully going to be back healthy from their shorter-term injuries. Avery Bradley finally found his jumper and Andre Drummond looked healthy against the Pelicans, while Stanley Johnson is expected to return tonight.

With Drummond and Bradley hopefully being back right and Stanley Johnson starting to play again the Pistons will be as healthy as they have been in some time. Expect Drummond to have a good chance at a big game with a soft Nets interior, but the Pistons will have to be ready for the up and down pace the Nets play at.

For the Nets, Pistons fans can look forward to seeing Spencer Dinwiddie who has found himself in a larger role recently and playing at a very high level.

This is the first of three games that should be winnable for the Pistons (the other two being Chicago and Charlotte) which will be important for them to win if they are to stay afloat. If they lose these games it will be time to start being seriously worried.
