Game Preview: Blake Griffin Set to Debut as Pistons Host Grizzlies

The Detroit Pistons(23-26) host the Memphis Grizzlies(18-32) tonight at Little Ceasers Arena. The game begins at 7:00p.m.

The shorthanded Pistons shocked the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, 125-114. Stanley Johnson had a career night, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Andre Drummond had another fantastic game, finishing with 21 points, 22 rebounds, and seven assists. Reggie Bullock added 22 points. Detroit outscored Cleveland 66-51 in the second half.

The Grizzlies played yesterday, falling to the Indiana Pacers, 105-101. Wayne Selden scored 24 points. Marc Gasol flirted with a triple-double, scoring 23 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and dishing out six assists.

The Grizzlies have not won on the road against an Eastern Conference team this season.

Injuries

Detroit will be without Reggie Jackson(ankle) and Jon Leuer(ankle).

Blake Griffin, Willie Reed, and Brice Johnson are all active for the Pistons.

Mike Conley(ankle) is out for Memphis. Chandler Parsons(knee), JaMychal Green(ankle), Mario Chalmers(hamstring), and Deyonta Davis(knee) did not play yesterday.
