The Heat travel to Detroit after losing there last two games against the 76ers and Cavaliers. Heat Rookie, Bam Adebayo commented on their last game saying the 76ers let them back into the game and let them close in an almost thirty point deficit but they still fell short losing 103-97. Kelly Olynyk came off the bench to lead the team with 19 points, however, Bam Adebayo lead the Heat in rebounds with 13, also off the bench. Coming off of two losses, the Heat must hope Blake Griffin struggles with his new team in order for them come out on top. The Heat come to Detroit hoping to snap the two-game losing streak.
Coming off a good introductory win for Griffin over the Grizzlies, Detroit looks to keep the ball rolling and get their third straight win. Griffin posted 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists alongside Andre Drummond who contributed 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win Thursday night. Coach Stan Van Gundy looks to incorporate Griffin with some new plays tonight against the Heat. In Griffin’s first appearance he did not get a chance to practice with his new team so Van Gundy only ran some basic plays. But, now with some practice under his belt, look to see Van Gundy running some different plays with Griffin and the rest of the offense.
