Tonight, the Detroit Pistons cruised to a victory over the Portland Trail Blazers 111-91.
The Pistons are undefeated in the new Blake Griffin Era and today was no different. Griffin led the Pistons in scoring with 20 points while grabbing 9 boards and dishing 6 assists. Andre Drummond had another monster double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. Drummond also had 5 assists.
The Pistons bench performed very well offensively. Anthony Tolliver had 15 points while Galloway had 13 and Luke Kennard had 12 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 50.6% (44/87) from the field and 50% from downtown (15/30). Defensively, the Pistons looked excellent, keeping the Trail Blazers shooting under 40% while forcing 13 turnovers. The Pistons also outrebounded the Blazers 51-44.
For the Blazers, Damian Lillard had solid game, posting 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. However, the rest of the Blazers struggled from the floor. CJ McCollum only had 14 points while the rest of the starters combined for only 25.
The Pistons will look to stretch their win streak to 5 as they face the Brooklyn Nets at home, Wednesday, at 7pm ET/4pm PT.
