The Pistons are of course on the second night of a back to back while the Pelicans are on one day of rest after beating the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
The Pistons have lost two in a row and will be looking to get back on track to finish strong heading into the all-star break while the Pelicans are trying their best to stay afloat with DeMarcus Cousins’ injury.
Andre Drummond will face off with Anthony Davis for much of the night in an all-star matchup which will be fun, and the Piston perimeter players will have their hands full trying to contain Jrue Holiday.
Just as the Pistons have some new faces, the Pelicans added former Bull Nikola Mirotic to their roster in a trade. Blake Griffin has had trouble closing out to good shooters over the last couple of games and he will have to be better or risk getting burned by the sniping forward.
