The Hornets come into the game having won two straight out of the break, while the Pistons dropped their last game to the Boston Celtics. Both teams are on one day of rest.

The game is an important one for the Pistons as it is one of the more winnable games in a brutal stretch of schedule. Dwight Howard and Andre Drummond will match up down low, while the Pistons must find some way to contain all-star Kemba Walker.
