The Pistons surrendered another big game to Dwight Howard who scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The Hornets joined a growing list of teams who shot exceptionally well from deep against the Pistons as well, as the Hornets went 16-35 from deep.
Blake Griffin was a small positive for the Pistons, as he put up a fairly easy 20 points and six assists. Other than him though, the Pistons struggled to generate good offense throughout much of the game, although their defense was obviously the bigger problem.
The Pistons will have a quick turnaround as they head to Toronto tomorrow, while the Hornets have a day off before hosting the Bulls.
