The Pistons stayed close in the first half but once again struggled in the third quarter and let the game get away. Blake Griffin at least gave a good performance with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, but he had very little help.
LeBron James scored 32 points for the Cavaliers including shooting 5-7 from deep.
The Pistons will next play against the Toronto Raptors, while the Cavaliers will next have the Denver Nuggets.
