Tonight at 8:00pm Pistons fans will get a chance to get in on a playoff race while waiting for the Pistons to get their late start as the Grand Rapids Drive (26-21) will be on the road to play against the Windy City Bulls (23-24) in what will be the Drive’s last home game of the year.

Each one of the Drive’s final three games is important to their playoff hopes, as they currently are in the sixth and final spot in the Eastern Conference, just one game ahead of the Lakeland Magic. A win tonight would also bump the Drive into fifth.

The Bulls are just as middle-of-the-road mediocre as their record suggests. They are in the top ten in no meaningful statistics, but are not in the bottom ten of any other than defensive efficiency and only barely that.

The Drive are on a three-game winning streak, with their latest coming on Saturday over the conference-leading Knicks, while the Bulls lost their last game (also on Saturday) to the Memphis Hustle.
