The Detroit Pistons are reportedly interested in adding Chauncey Billups to their front office, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
Stan Van Gundy is the current President of Basketball Operations in Detroit, but there are rumblings throughout the league that the Pistons plan to move in a different direction when the offseason arrives.
The rumors circulate around Arn Tellem taking over in the front office, but Billups would work with him.
The Pistons are six games out of the top eight seeds in the Eastern Conference and are on the cusp of missing the playoffs.
