Game Recap: Blake Griffin Flirts with Triple-Double as Pistons Handle Suns

The Detroit Pistons(32-39) defeated the Pheonix Suns(19-53) on Tuesday night, 115-88. Reggie Jackson returned after suffering a Grade 3 ankle sprain that kept him out for the past 24 games.

Jackson played just over 15 minutes, starting each quarter of the game. He finished with seven points on 3-7 shooting and added in two assists while not turning the ball over. While he only finished with two assists, he did a nice job moving the ball and setting up teammates, specifically Blake Griffin.

However, he did connect with his partner in crime Andre Drummond on an alley-oop feed.

Blake Griffin led the way for Detroit, nearly notching a triple-double. He finished with 26 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Andre Drummond added a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 10 boards. Luke Kennard scored 16 points off the bench.

Detroit shot a fantastic 15-36 from the 3-point line, 41.7 percent. Phoenix shot 20.6 percent, 7-34 from deep.

Alex Len was the catalyst for the Suns, scoring 19 points and corralling 12 rebounds. Troy Daniels added 18 points.

The Suns show a lowly 37.8 percent from the field and connected on just 13-20 free throws.Detroit forced Phoenix into 19 turnovers while committing just nine of their own.

Detroit picked up their second win in a row and have now won twice in a row on the road, after not winning a game away from Little Ceasers Arena since January.
