The Pistons (32-39) are coming off of wins on a back to back over the Kings and Suns, while the Houston Rockets (57-14) are coming off a win over the Portland Trailblazers.
The Rockets are of course led by their superstar backcourt of James Harden and Chris Paul. Chris Paul is battling a hamstring injury and it is not clear if he will be playing tonight.
The Pistons come into the game having won their first two road games since the Blake Griffin trade, with Reggie Jackson making his return last time out against the Suns. Jackson played with a minutes restriction against the Suns and it is likely he will do so again tonight, although it is not clear if he will be given more minutes or not.
With the Bucks having lost three of their last four and Giannis Antetokounmpo suffering an injury last night the Pistons (still slim) playoff hopes had some fire rekindled. A win tonight would go a long ways towards building some actual hope there.
