Report: Pistons Dismiss Jeff Bower as General Manager

The Detroit Pistons have dismissed general manager Jeff Bower from his position today, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Before being released, Bower spent four years with the Pistons.

Detroit’s recently hired Ed Stefanski will continue to conduct searches for both a general manager and head coach.

Along with Detroit, Bower has been the general manager of the Charlotte Bobcats and New Orleans Hornets in his career.

The search on the front office front has been quiet, but reports have been rampant on Detroit’s coaching search. The team has met with Dwane Casey, Juwan Howard, Kenny Smith, and other candidates over the last few weeks.
