Report: Pistons Sign Coach Dwane Casey to Five-Year Deal

The Detroit Pistons have finally decided upon who will be the next head coach in Detroit. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, that man is former Toronto Raptors head coach, Dwane Casey.

Detroit has been searching for a head coach since they moved on from Stan Van Gundy in May.

Detroit spoke with many names across the NBA throughout their coaching search. Their final candidates reportedly came down to Casey and San Antonio Spurs assistant coach, Ime Udoka.

Casey was fired by the Raptors after Toronto was swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs this season.
