Former Detroit Pistons forward Anthony Tolliver has reportedly signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Free agent forward Anthony Tolliver is nearing a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, league sources tell Yahoo.

While exact details are not known, Charania says the deal is for one-year in the $5-$6 million range.

This is a tough blow for the Pistons. Tolliver is a stretch-four who provided some excellent minutes and shooting prowess. It thins out an already shaky Detroit bench unit and makes their need for shooting even greater. It also leaves a hole behind oft-injured star Blake Griffin. Tolliver filled in admirably for Griffin last season.
