The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a contract with Johnny Hamilton, a big man out of the University of Texas at Arlington according to Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype.
The deal, as Kennedy reports, is partially guaranteed for one season.
Hamilton played in the Las Vegas Summer League with Detroit, providing a nice spark off the bench in limited minutes. He averaged four points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.
Hamilton is a 7’0″ center who played two years at Jacksonville college, before transferring to Virginia Tech for two seasons and finishing his college career at Arlington.
He is 24 years old. Hamilton went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft earlier this offseason.
