The Detroit Pistons have signed forward Chris McCullough to a training camp deal. The 23-year-old has played for the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards, with his most successful season being his first in 2014-15.
The former Syracuse standout has a real shot to make the Pistons 15-man roster, likely slotting in as a power forward behind Blake Griffin, Jon Leuer, Henry Ellenson. If Ellenson or Leuer continue to struggle, however, McCullough could be in a great opportunity to prove he’s an NBA-caliber talent with the Pistons.
