Report: Luke Kennard Out with Shoulder Sprain, to be Evaluated in Two Weeks

The Detroit Pistons announced today that shooting guard Luke Kennard will be out the next two weeks with a right shoulder sprain. Kennard suffered the injury in last night’s win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kennard left the game late in the first half but was playing very well before going down with the injury. He had eight points on 4-4 shooting with an assist and steal in 13 minutes. He left the game in a sling.

Adrain Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Kennard will miss 3-4 due to the injury.

Kennard has appeared in three of Detroit’s four games, but his role has been limited as Dwane Casey has relied heavily on Ish Smith and Langton Galloway off the bench.
