Tonight the Detroit Pistons (11-7) edged out the New York Knicks (7-15) 115-108. This game was not pretty as the Pistons almost allowed the Knicks to come back but luckily Stanley Johnson slammed the door shut.
Blake Griffin led the Pistons with 30 points while Stanley Johnson and Reggie Jackson both contributed 21 points.
Andre Drummond struggled tonight scoring only six points but he did not quit on the defensive side of the ball.
For the Knicks, Allonzo Trier had the best night of his career, making 9-of-12 from the field for a career-high 25 points with eight rebounds, four assists, and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes. Tim Hardaway Jr. pitched in with 19 points while Damyean Dotson scored 17 points. Enes Kanter posted a double-double with 16 points and fourteen rebounds.
