The Drive got off to a poor start, initially falling down by 1-11 early in the game, and spent most of the first half down by double digits. They fought back in the second half, hanging around within striking distance until they made a full comeback late in the 4th.
The Knicks were led by John Jenkins, who scored 40 points, while Kadeem Allen hit the game-winning shot in overtime.
The thrilling game featured a dominant performance by Grand Rapids point guard Speedy Smith, who scored 24 points and had 11 assists. Smith in the pick and roll was the fuel of the comeback in the second half. As Knicks coach Mike Miller put it, the Drive had everything working.

Grand Rapids head coach Ryan Krueger had excellent things to say about his point guard as well.

Another outstanding performer for the Drive was power forward Todd Withers, who had his best game of the season, by scoring 21 points. HE has been starting for some time and he has never looked more comfortable.
