The Detroit Pistons will waive forward Henry Ellenson, Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Detroit will waive Ellenson to make room for the acquisition of Wayne Ellington, who will reportedly sign with the Pistons once he clears waivers.

Ellenson, 22, was drafted by the Pistons with the 18th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. In three season with Detroit, he averaged 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 8.5 minutes per game. He had appeared in just two games this season.
