Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week, the NBA announced this afternoon. This is the second time this season that Drummond has won the award, as he won it the week of March 11th as well.
The Pistons went 2-1 during the week, with Drummond leading to their wins over the Orlando Magic and Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 17.7 points, 18 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks per game through the week.
Damian Lillard won the award in the Western Conference.
Outside of this season, Drummond won the award three other times during his career.
