Report: Pistons to Attend Free Agent Amar’e Stoudemire Workout

The Detroit Pistons will attend a workout for free agent big man Amar’e Stoudemire, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

There are approximately 12 teams attending this evening’s workout in Las Vegas featuring Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis. Among those are LA Lakers, Golden State, NY Knicks, Oklahoma City, Milwaukee, Detroit and Washington.

He is currently playing in the Big 3, a league of former NBA players.

He will work out in front of a slew of NBA teams. The 6’10” big is now 36 years old and has not been in the NBA since the 2015-2016 season.

He has career averages of 18.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
