Report: Pistons Among Teams Interested in Kosta Koufos

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Detroit Pistons are one of the numerous teams interested in center Kosta Koufos.

Free agent big man Kosta Koufos has received preliminary interest from Detroit, Sacramento, Toronto and Milwaukee, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. The veteran, noted for his defense and rim protection, could be a later signing.

The Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, and Milwaukee Bucks are also teams interested, he reports.

Koufos, 30, has spent the last four seasons of his career with the Kings. He has career averages of 6.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game over his time in Sacramento.

Koufos joins Pau Gasol as a big man that Detroit is interested in. After missing out on JaVale McGee, the Pistons are still searching for a center to backup Andre Drummond.
