Kobe Bryant was one of the greatest basketball players of all-time, whose work ethic, sheer will, and culture-building persona will never be forgotten. His impact stretched across every sport on every continent. Throughout his career, he had many battles against the Detroit Pistons, including an NBA Finals matchup in 2004. Bryant was once almost traded to Detroit, and his impact was especially prevalent every time he visited the Palace of Auburn Hills. In his last game in Detroit, Pistons’ announcer Mason gave him one of the all-time starting lineup introductions.
Bryant passed away on January 26th, 2020, at the age of 41 years old.
