According to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo, the Detroit Pistons have the “option” to buyout Reggie Jackson’s contract in order to get down to the 15-man roster limit.

This news comes after Detroit stunned the NBA by trading Andre Drummond, their longest-tenured player, to the Cleveland Cavaliers for John Henson, Brandon Knight, and a future second round pick.

The Pistons would be looking at a completely new era by trading Drummond and buying out Jackson, two of their best players.
