Svi Mykhailiuk is coming into his own with an increased role on the new look Detroit Pistons. A second year guard from Ukraine, Mykhailiuk is one of the league’s top 3-point shooters and has shown high levels of offensive and playmaking creativity.

Svi’s growth through his 1 and 1/2 seasons in Detroit will likely continue, but to what extent? Will the Pistons continue to prioritize him when Luke Kennard makes his return from injury?

The Pistons have completely committed to going young, shipping away Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond this season. Detroit will use this time to give shine to young players, including Mykhailiuk.
