The Detroit Pistons have claimed G/F Jordan McRae off waivers from the Denver Nuggets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
McRae has been a journeyman of sorts in his four year career, playing for equally as many teams in that time-span. Notably, McRae was on the 2015-16 NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers’ roster.
The Pistons are likely bringing McRae to assist with the scoring duties that the Pistons are sorely lacking since the departures of Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond, along with the recent injury of Derrick Rose. McRae had a 35-point performance this year when he was on the Wizards.
