According to Christian Wood’s agent, Adam Pensack, Wood is “feeling great and fully recovered” from the COVID-19 virus.
On March 14, Wood was diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus and so far he has been the only Detroit Pistons’ player to have gotten the sickness.
On March 11, Wood torched the Philadelphia 76ers for a career high 32 points but shortly after the game, due to the coronavirus, the season was suspended.
Earlier before the 76ers game Wood was experiencing flu like symptoms but he felt good enough to play. So far 10 players have tested positive for the virus.
Last night Minnesota Timberwolves’ star player , Karl Anthony Towns, published an emotional video declaring his mother had tested positive for the coronavirus and she was now in a medically induced coma.
In the state of Michigan, there have been over 2,200 cases of coronavirus and 43 deaths.
