Pistons Scout Maury Hanks Diagnosed With Coronavirus

Maury Hanks, who has been the Detroit Pistons’ college scout since 2014-15, is currently battling COVID-19, or the coronavirus.

Hanks served in roles with the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors prior to joining the Pistons. He was also a respected assistant coach for decades in college basketball.

Our thoughts are with Hanks and hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.
