After trading Luke Kennard to the Los Angeles Clippers in a three-team deal with the Brooklyn Nets, the Detroit Pistons have received Saddiq Bey in the 2020 NBA Draft with the 19th pick.
Bey, a forward out of Villanova, averaged 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists on 47.7% shooting. Scouting reports tout Bey as a versatile forward who’s skills can translate easily to the NBA. This is the third pick of Troy Weaver’s tenure as Pistons general manager, who previously picked Killian Hayes and Isaiah Stewart in respective order.
This pick was made by Brooklyn on behalf of the Pistons, following the three-team deal.
