The Detroit Pistons selected Isaiah Stewart with the 16th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Stewart is a 6’9” 250 pound center from the University of Washington. In his one season at Washington, Stewart averaged 17 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 32 minutes a night. Stewart is not a floor stretcher by any means, only shooting 25 percent from three on only 20 attempts.
Stewart is not a flashy player by any means. However his game has a lot of physicality and grit, something that fits well in Detroit. He comes to Detroit after spending one year at Washington, where he was a five star recruit out of high school.
