The Detroit Pistons have acquired Mavericks point guard Delon Wright in exchange for Trevor Ariza in a three team deal with the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Wright, a veteran point guard for the Dallas Mavericks, averaged 6.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists in the 2019-20 season. Ariza, who was acquired this week by the Detroit Pistons, will be sent to Oklahoma City as part of the trade.
This is yet another move in what has been an action packed first offseason for Troy Weaver, the new Pistons general manager. The current expectation around the league is that the Pistons are far from being done with making moves.
