After 24 hours of no Pistons news, general manager Troy Weaver has struck again. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Detroit has traded center Tony Bradley to the Philadelphia 76ers for guard Zhaire Smith.
After drafting Isaiah Stewart and signing Mason Plumlee and Jahlil Okafor, Detroit had an abundance of centers and lacked guard play. This trade helps Detroit fix both of those issues.
However, per Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo! Sports, Detroit is going to waive and stretch Smith, opening up another roster spot.
