The Detroit Pistons have waived forward Dzanan Musa, according to Rod Beard of the Detroit News.
Musa was acquired by the Detroit Pistons in the offseason in the trade that sent guard Bruce Brown to the Brooklyn Nets.
He appeared in just one preseason game with Detroit, playing 12 minutes, recording only a rebound and an assist. Musa is just 21 years old.
With the waiving of Musa, veteran swingmen Wayne Ellington and Rodney McGruder appear as if they have made the Pistons’ final roster barring any other moves.
