According to Shams Charania, rookie guard Killian Hayes suffered a labral tear in his hip on the Jan. 4 game vs. Milwaukee.

There’s no timetable yet on when Hayes is expected to return, but it is likely Hayes rookie campaign is already over. Typical recovery time for a labral tear in the hip is between four and six months, but could even be longer. Hayes started all 7 games for the Pistons this season, posting averages of 4.6 points, 3.6 assists, and 27.7% field goal percentage in just over 21 minutes per contest.
